ABOUT THIS TOOL
Why use this tool?
Exam portals like UPSC and Railway often state "Width must be 200px, Height must be 230px" or "3.5 cm x 4.5 cm". This tool sets exact coordinates without guessing.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does centimeter-to-pixel conversion work?
At standard printing resolution (300 DPI), 1 cm equals approximately 118 pixels. At web resolution (96 DPI), 1 cm is ~37.8 pixels. Our tool handles this conversion automatically.
Should I lock the aspect ratio?
Locking aspect ratio prevents your face from looking stretched or squished. If an exam demands non-proportional dimensions, you can uncheck the lock box.
Will resizing dimensions reduce file weight too?
Yes, setting lower pixel dimensions naturally reduces the total file size dramatically.
